Escape Room Fun with a Purpose: In this lesson, students will participate in a spooky adventure to defeat peer pressure's spell & escape the haunted lab. But there's a twist – they must work together to collect ingredients for the potion by solving a variety of puzzles and challenges.
The Puzzles: Students will work in teams to solve 5 puzzles. The puzzles include 1) Understanding the difference between Positive vs. Negative Peer Pressure, 2) Recognizing Direct & Indirect Peer Pressure, 3) Handling Peer Pressure, 4) Supporting Friends, and 5) The Final Escape. Students will use picture-graphs, a Ghostly Guide, and sorting to decode and solve the puzzles! With each puzzle solved students will earn an ingredient for the potion in the final puzzle. Once escaped, students will receive a Peer Pressure Problem-Solver or Bookmark to color as part of this engaging activity.
