By unscrambling the letters to identify the different body parts and discussing how they feel and react when getting angry, students will learn important skills for coping with anger. The final puzzle provides a helpful coping strategy for managing anger in the body, which can be easily decoded by inserting the numbered letters provided.


During this activity, students share how their bodies react when they feel angry, and I illustrate their responses on the board. For example, they might mention their heart beating faster, feeling butterflies in their stomach, their fists clenching, their face becoming hot, or their hearing becoming impaired. I draw these reactions on the board, and they add them to their own sheet. This activity is perfect for introducing students to the concept of recognizing their anger and learning effective coping strategies, whether done individually, in small groups, or as a class.
