To assemble this product, you'll need to cut and use double-sided tape. The package includes clear instructions, which are available for download in the preview. I created these flipbooks with 5th-grade students in a small group, and they were able to follow the instructions. Third and fourth-grade students could likely do it in a small group, but with younger students, I suggest making it for them. It's also a good idea to have a few pre-made for when a student needs one in a distressing situation.

This resource includes multiple versions, such as girl/boy, color/BW, and print/cursive versions. Additionally, there is a blank flipper with editable text to customize your own. The Calming Strategies Infinite Flipper adds a "flip" to utilizing coping strategies!

Calming strategies included:

· Count to 10

· Get a drink

· Read a book

· Rest quietly

· Talk to a friend

· Write in a journal

· Work on a puzzle

· Use putty

· Do some stretches

· Go for a walk

· Listen to music

· Color a picture
