Tracker is a program that allows elementary students to indirectly shadow various careers in the community. The program is designed to make career awareness a personalized and enjoyable experience. Tracker, a stuffed animal, accompanies a different student each week on a field trip to their parents' workplace to learn about different jobs in the community. During the field trip, Tracker is curious about the tasks performed and the subjects required for the job. Upon returning, the student presents a report with pictures of Tracker's experience. This program aims to engage students in their career learning experience.
This program can easily be implemented in just one classroom or school-wide. Templates are included to personalize using your school mascot.
