Looking for a TEAMWORK & COOPERATION lesson students will remember? This frosty, fun guidance lesson is interactive and practices the SOFT SKILLS needed to work together in small groups.
The lesson begins with a colorful, slideshow discussion about the importance of teamwork. Students will understand the characteristics of a successful team and how these characteristics will help them with their future careers. After the discussion, students break into small groups to complete team challenges before the animated timer, a snowball fight, ends. Students learn communication skills, conflict resolution skills, cooperation, and goal-setting while rotating through different game stations! A total of 12 frosty, fun team challenges are provided.
This packet provides you with a Scripted Lesson Plan, PowerPoint Presentation, and 12 Cooperative Learning Games. You will choose 4-6 cooperative games from the list of 12 provided so you can actually use this lesson again with the other games! A list of supplies that need to be gathered before the classroom lesson is provided.
