This infinity flipper highlights the 7-step grounding strategy to help students experiencing anxiety. This calming strategy provides a coping skill students can use to calm down and regain a sense of control. Whenever a student is feeling worried, they can flip that worry as they work their way through the grounding strategy. The infinite flipper will continue to flip through the 5,4,3,2,1 grounding technique as long as the student needs it.

This product requires cutting and double-sided tape to put it together. It comes with detailed directions on how to put the infinite flipper together. You can see the directions in the downloadable preview provided. I made these with 5th graders in a Stress Less small group. They were able to follow directions to put their own together. I think 3rd & 4th graders may be able to follow along in a small group as well. With younger students, I would make it for them. It’s also good to have a few pre-made just to have on hand when you have a student in distress.


There are 8 versions included in this resource: girl/boy versions, color/BW versions, and print/cursive versions. This resource is perfect for all age groups: from children to adults.
