SEL Thanksgiving Escape Room Gratitude Lesson Kindness Social Skills Activity
Make learning about gratitude and acts of kindness fun this Thanksgiving with Quirky Turkey's Grateful ESCAPE Room Lesson! Join Gobble Groups and help Quirky Turkey earn pieces of his disguise as he learns how to be more thankful, thoughtful, and kind. Your students will love earning pieces of his disguise so he can flee from his Thanksgiving fears in this engaging and interactive Escape Room activity.
Students will work in Gobble Groups to solve 5 puzzles as Quirky Turkey seeks advice from other animals on the farm. The puzzles include using a Pie Problem Solver, sorting Grateful and Ungrateful scenarios, discovering what Quirky Turkey appreciates in the corn maze, and solving clues on his Kindness Calendar.
With each puzzle solved students will earn a piece of Quirky Turkey's disguise for the final puzzle and learn a valuable lesson about gratitude and kindness. Once Quirky Turkey has his disguise, students will receive Kindness Coupons, Gratitude Grams, or Kindness Quotes to color and give to others. Additionally, students can create their own Kindness Calendar as part of this engaging activity.
